- So what is Nittany Leather? NL has been around since Late 2005. I was looking for a case, but didn't want to spend a million bucks on something I would be afraid to take out of the house. I did some repair work for a friend and figured I could make a case like the one he had, but better. One thing lead to another, and here I am. I try to provide a unique and classic style, using the best USA leather. As my skills improve, as will my designs. Right now, plain and simple is what people seem to like. But I'll try to make something to you specific style. Enjoy! Brian
